Journal of Akdeniz University Faculty of Communication (Akdeniz İletişim) has been publishing since 2003. Akdeniz İletişim, which is among the first journals to publish in the field of communication in Turkey, is preparing to publish a special issue for its 20th anniversary. For the 20th Anniversary Special Issue to be published in November 2023, we invite our colleagues to honor the pages of our journal by submitting their work in this field.
Within the scope of the 20th Year Special Issue, studies on communication faculties in Turkiye, education at every level in the field of communication, academic publications, research trends, accreditation and quality management processes, graduate experiences will be included. In this context, not limited to the following titles, besides refereed academic studies, invited contributions will also be included.
• Communication curricula
• Trends in communication studies
• Bibliographic, bibliometric studies and meta-analyses focusing on communication
• Journal publishing in the field of communication
• Doyens and doyennes of the field of communication
• Communication training and accreditation processes
• Awards given in the field of communication and the place of these awards in communication education
• Critical approaches to communication education
• Communications education, employment and graduates
In order for the referee processes to be completed in a timely manner, we kindly request our authors to pay attention to the formal rules of Akdeniz İletişim and to upload their works through the Dergipark manuscript submission system between 1 - 15 September 2023.
